Hello, everyone! I want to take a few minutes and start by introducing myself.
First and foremost I am a Christian, Southern Baptist, I love my Lord and love telling about all He has done for me. I am single, never been married and have no children. I am blessed with a very close family. There’s my mama and a younger brother of whom I am very proud (he is a firefighter/paramedic), and my boy Jasper (my dog, best friend & confidant). In April (4/2/09) my world came to a stop. My father passed away. He and I had a very special relationship…we were parent/child, buddies and best friends. I am a daddy’s girl, spoiled and proud of it. I am an 11 year breast cancer survivor and love sharing my story about my experience with cancer. I enjoy working with youth and teaching them more about God and all He wants to do in their lives. I strive to let Christ show in my life in all I do but fall so short. I am not perfect; just forgiven.
This is some of who I am. I hope you enjoy my site and that as we go through the weeks together, we will become friends.
Now as for the reason for this blog:
By starting this blog, I hope to have a place where you feel free to come and express your feelings, release any stress you may have from your day and be able to come into an uplifting in the Lord. I hope to periodically have posts of women in the bible that can be used as an inspiration for each of us as we strive to live our lives as witnesses for Christ. As women, we wear many different hats and are pulled right, left, frontwards and backwards. It seems we are changing these hats every 30 minutes without any time for ourselves. Together, I hope we can share stories of how God has helped us in the different storms and trials we have been or are going through and how He has made us stronger through them. I would like to use this blog as an inspiration for others and to give God the praise and glory for all He has and is doing in our lives.
I hope you know my Lord as your personal Savior. If not I would love the opportunity to share Him with you.
